HOW IT WORKS

A Simple Journey to Your New Dachshund

Welcoming a puppy into your family is an exciting experience. Our adoption process is designed to keep things clear, comfortable, and easy to understand from the moment you find your puppy to the day they arrive home.

From First Look to First Day Home

Every family and puppy is different, but these are the main stages you can expect when welcoming one of our Dachshunds.

01

Find Your Puppy

Start by exploring our available Dachshunds. Take time to learn about each puppy, including their personality, appearance, age, and current availability. When you find one that catches your eye, get in touch with us.

02

Let's Get to Know You

We will talk with you about your home, lifestyle, experience with dogs, and what you are looking for in a companion. This conversation helps make sure you understand the puppy's needs and feel comfortable moving forward.

03

Confirm Your Reservation

Once you have decided on a puppy, we will explain the reservation requirements and confirm the arrangements with you. Your puppy's availability and the next steps will be clearly communicated before anything is finalized.

04

Prepare for Homecoming

While your puppy is getting ready, we encourage you to prepare a safe and comfortable space at home. We can also provide helpful information about feeding, basic care, supplies, and settling your Dachshund into their new environment.

05

Pickup or Delivery

When your puppy is ready, we will coordinate the final arrangements with you. Depending on your location and the available options, you can discuss personal pickup or transportation arrangements with our team.

06

Welcome Your Puppy Home

The journey ends with the beginning of something special. Give your new Dachshund time to settle, establish a routine, and enjoy those first moments together as your family grows.

What Happens After You Choose?

We believe you should know what to expect before committing to a puppy. Once you have selected a Dachshund, we will walk you through the reservation and payment arrangements that apply to your puppy.

01

Discuss the Puppy

We confirm availability and answer any questions you may have before the reservation is made.

02

Secure Your Puppy

Reservation requirements are explained clearly, including any applicable deposit, payment, or confirmation terms.

03

Stay Updated

We keep communication open so you know what to expect as your puppy's homecoming date approaches.

Getting Ready for a New Family Member

A little preparation can make the transition much easier for both you and your puppy. Before arrival, make sure your home has a comfortable sleeping area, appropriate puppy food, food and water bowls, safe toys, a collar or harness, and basic grooming supplies.

It is also helpful to plan your puppy's first few days in advance, including feeding times, potty breaks, rest periods, and veterinary care.
